A quiet walk along the reservoir with views over the water — ideal for an easy afternoon.
About the place
The Nýrsko reservoir was made in 1969 by flooding the valley of the Úhlava. The country around it is quiet, the air is clean, and the views over the water are lovely at any time of year.
It is the walk for the afternoon you arrive, or for an easier day between two harder outings.
- Parking
- Parkoviště VD Nýrsko (that is how Google Maps has it), beyond the village of Milence.

- How hard
- Easy. The path is partly asphalt, partly gravel, but good going throughout.
