Wolves with your own eyes from a wooden walkway — one of the great experiences for children.
About the place
The wolf enclosure at Srní is one of the greatest things you can offer children in Šumava. The wooden walkway takes you directly above the enclosure — and with luck you will see the wolves with your own eyes.
- The walk to the enclosure
- A short climb from the car park, manageable with a pushchair. There is a longer steeper path and a shorter gentler one.
- The enclosure
- A wooden walkway among the trees runs directly above the wolf enclosure.
- Visitor centre
- An interactive exhibition about wolves and an outdoor playground, both by the paying car park.
- Srní information centre
- A children's corner with drawing and a short film about Šumava.
- Modrava
- Not far off lies one of the most visited places in central Šumava — a village at the meeting of three streams, associated with the writer Karel Klostermann.
